I had an opportunity to sit in one at the local auto show last winter. Oddly, the car I sat in was clearly European-spec. Only had km/h for the scale on the speedometer, temperature knob positions were in Celsius, and the radio was labeled "NAVI 950 Europe." I guess they didn't have any US-spec cars ready at the time.

I thought it was a cool little car, Pontiac style red backlighting and all.

Strange marquee for it to fall under. I guess they couldn't think of a better place. Maybe Chevy is too flooded with other models.

Buick gets all the rebadged Opels, in that regard it is a natural fit.

That's exactly what I was thinking. In fact aren't most Buicks now descendants of European or Asian cars? Not much "American" about them anymore
