So recently I hit a rock, blew a tire and bent my rim. I was able to find a stock '09 GT 18" rim, but it did not have the center cap on it. I will be able to get the one from my old rim. What is the best way to secure the center cap? What type of adhesive, or should I go to the dealership to get it put on permanently?

Clear RTV silicone. It will hold the center cap in place but is not permanent. This is how the center caps on both our Vibes have been attached since we got them. Every time I've had to remove the center caps, I just use a little dab of silicone and pop them back into place.
