Okay so I couldn't think of a good title. sorry for the bad pun.

Also sorry for the purist out there but, I WANT TWO TONE SO BAD!

So I recently inherited (she is still live got herself a new elantra  ) my fiancé's 05 monotone white vibe.
I really want the two tone though the look is just so much better in my opinion. What I have been considering is simply painting the trim to a black and then faking it. which I have seen some people have painted the gray plastic trim pieces black and it looks stellar.

Idea 2 would be to purchase a body kit or the trim pieces from someone or somewhere which I don't even know if that is actually an option or not.

has anyone else painted there mon to a two tone or am I just a crazy outlier.

YES, Paint all the trim Black ... that would look sharp! Probably better than the original cladding "dull gray" look. Someone out there did this on a Red vibe years ago. I can't remember who but it looked real good. Due to exposure to chips, dings & dents, go with a quality paint that can take some abuse. Post side by side before & after pics of the Vibe when completely done.
