I check out thetruthaboutcars every day and was excited to find an article about the vibe/matrix twins, specifically a 1st gen with the 6-speed swap. Ignore the lead-in picture, Jack Baruth is a child but also an excellent writer.

Not groundbreaking, but brings commonly known info to the masses. The highway revs are blatantly incorrect. At 100kph/62mph, my base Vibe with a swapped 6 speed is turning around 3200rpm. No real tech info about the swap in the article. Much of the article is padding and could use some editing.

His "shocker" is stupid, and immediately discredits him as a writer.

edit: checked my car on the way home. 100kph/62mph is under 3000rpm. This is a base 1zz car that I swapped to the C60 trans from the GT. Correct height tires.
