Curious if there is a method for quickening and/or firming up shifts? I might be doing some towing with my Vibe in a few months when I move. I have a 1.8l fwd '04

http://www.monkeywrenchracing.com/produ ... ts_id=1983 valve body

Those are your only options besides swapping to manual, and they cost almost as much as a 6-speed manual anyway.

Or you can look into removing 1,2 and 3,4 accumulator springs for a cheaper solution. It will engage into gear a little faster and stiffer. But i would personally buy the valve body for long lasting results.

Cheapest possible fix is to switch to a compatible synthetic tranny fluid, if you haven't done that yet.
