Hey just wanted to let everyone know that there is a K&N type filter out there. It is made by AFE, part number 30-10094. No one else makes one yet that I know of.It works great. My Black GT feels stronger. Also, in 2nd while speeding up through the rpm band I could feel power surges. This is while driving like a normal human. That surge is now gone. Replaced by a good constant pull.I would recommend it to everyone. Thanks,Andy

if you can cut off your original muffler and weld on a new one (or at least clamp a new one on). Im considering this muffler 59.00 and catalytic converter 99.00 from this site.

Be careful with the oiled gauze filters . . . sometimes the oil will foul the MAF sensor and you'll get a CEL.

NSimkins, I had a K&N Generation II Injection Performance Kit on my 99 Sonoma Highrider with no problems. When you get the cleaning kit service pack for your filter make sure to get the 6.5 oz. spray air filter oil instead of the 8 oz. squeeze oil. The aerosol gives a more even application of the oil.

Thanks... and UPS just pulled up after I posted this. I did get the filter cleaning kit (with the 6.5 oz. aerosol spray cleaner). I guess the main concern is making sure the filter (when cleaning) is dirt-free, dry, and has no excess oil residue.Update: Got the filter in. Easy. I may post some pics for other users this weekend.
