I need help mounting non matrix/vibe fog lights on a matrix the company told me it would fit fine. I was un aware of the matrix's weird clip mounting when I bought the lights. They came with the standard U bracket for suv or trucks for mounting any tips for mounting

Well, give it some more time and hopefully a 1st gen owner will chime in with some suggestions for you.

Wow ! Those are really nice ! Where did you find those ? The only thing I can think of is to "gut" the OEM lens and somehow fit the aftermarket ones inside, but the OEM fogs arent completely round. This one may be tricky, but it can be done. I dont know how much space is above the fog light openings in the bumper from behind, maybe the bracket for the halo bulbs can be mounted from inside above ??? Trying not to overcomplicate it or remove bumper

I don't know the quality of them though the reviews are mixed they give you $5 if you advertise about how you like them. I am going to put some caulk to help seal them up to prevent water getting in them. I upgraded to the white halos they are better I also got a 20% off when I emailed them total was $71 comes with all wiring
Hardest part will be bending the metal and dealing with the shavings from cutting it.
