I was trying to replace the bulbs in there and cannot figure out how to get the mount off of the back window. I have removed the plastic cover and the two 10 mm bolts. I was trying to remove the electrical connection and wasn't able to twist it out. I must be missing something simple.

That sounds like a lot more work than I remember. I'll go look at mine and see.

Edit: Ok. Open the liftgate and pop the two pushpins out that hold the black cover in place. Close the liftgate and open the glass hatch. There are small tabs, one on each side of the red lens. Pry one up with a small screwdriver or knife blade, and it will pop off. There is a single bulb in the center of the reflector.

I dont even know if my light works but i will have to check. In the meantime I found this

What gen of Vibe are you working on? The '09-'10 Vibe are different then the earlier models and have a LED light assembly, if I remember right. How you remove that assembly is different too.
