RE: Radio knob fixes for 09-10

Post by kybertron »

Just wanted to say a very big thank you to all the people who posted about fixing their radio and tuner knobs for the 2009-2010 models. I have been putting up with the broken volume knob that spins freely for 4 years now and was going to just take it back to the dealership to be fixed for god knows how much. Instead, I stumbled upon this forum and have read a good portion of the posts on the subject, and my dad and I have had much luck in taking the radio apart and fixing both the knobs and the auxiliary port as well, all thanks to the many folks on here who posted detailed instructions, pictures, etc. I just joined this forum and I'm really digging the sense of community - gives me hope for the people of the interwebs!

Thanks again, looking forward to normal function in my volume knob and both speakers receiving my aux signal! :D
