I had loaned out my beloved Vibe to my soon-to-be son-in-law. I have my van and I have my Vibe. As I was still outfitting and working out the kinks in the van to take out on the road, I loaned out 'Whitey'. Future son-in-law was getting transferred to a new place and didn't get a work truck yet, so they were having to one car it. Since Whitey was just sitting there, I let them borrow her. For 2 months.

This past weekend, however, a family member of his loaned him a vehicle. He felt he would rather drive his family's vehicle instead of mine, should anything happen. So, a few days ago I got my Vibe back. I didn't realize how much I missed it!!! Happy happy happy now.

I'm surprised your son in law wanted to give it back and not keep it because it's such a great vehicle! I can't imagine being without my Vibe for 2 months.
