If it weren't AWD, I'd probably have replaced the bad transmission. It did that thing where it only would engage forward in 3rd or 4th (doesn't like starting out) and made horrible noises trying reverse. Limped into my driveway several months ago and there it sits.

2004 Vibe AWD
- Took battery out for the neighbor.
- A few minor dings & scrapes, interior is dirty, has been sitting.
- U-tow.
+ Tags up to date non-op.
+ Engine ran fine when I parked it.
+ Allow wheels.
+ Automatic (not working) AT.
+ Roof rack.
+ Sun roof.
+ Straight frame.

How many miles are on the engine?
You could post some pictures to pique people's interest.

You'd think I would know this... I'm pretty sure we had passed the 200k mark not long before the tranny went.

Ah yes. Sorry - meant to update. Car sold for $500. The buyer happened to have that AWD tranny needing a car.
Local wrecking yard would offer a lowball figure that appeared MAYBE to be scrap steel value.
