Focus ST's a fun replacement. We just went and picked up a 2015 Ford Escape SE with the 2L ecoboost yesterday. The Escape rides on a revised Focus platform with the same 2L but 12 less HP. I'm guessing due to intake and/or exhaust plumbing mostly. Our Escape has their newish fancy torque vectoring, etc awd, though. No manual, however.
It's mostly for the girlfriend anyway. I've always got the Vibe GT and Supra for giggles. Hell, even the RAV is a surprising beast (faster than the Escape though
probably not gonna be as good a handler) with awd and the v6.
