Hoping some knowledgeable individual can help me out! No power to the radiator fan. 06 Vibe base. Could it be a fuse? One of these relays? Thanks so much for any help!

Hello, does is come on when you turn on ac? that is when it should come on, but only if your ac is in working condition (compressor, has enough refrigerant ).I would try fuses first, then if they are fine i would take fan out, and test it on the table with ohm meter, making sure that it does not have infinite resistance. Fan motor is attached to the shroud which is also a overflow tank, two 10mm bolts on each side of shroud towards the top, then unplug wiring harness, slide it towards you (upwards) then it will come out.Hope we can help you fellow vibe driver.

Yep, I figured it should come on when AC is on. AC was working last summer when I disconnected the wiring harness to see if the fan was getting power, so I think it is not related to AC. Just realized that the AC is not working anymore, so will have to get it recharged again. Will prob do that first so this problem is easier to troubleshoot. Fuses all look good, so I was thinking maybe a relay. Really appreciate your assistance, prob best to get back to you after I get AC working again. Have a good day!!

Sure let me know how it goes, hey just to throw it your way, if your ac is totally empty it might be good idea to replace accumulator. It is not very expensive and you get replacement o rings.I found out that in many cases that is the place where refrigerant leaks out. Your could also get vacuum pump and pull vacuum on it, and then recharge it, that way you would eliminate all moisture out of the system that could freeze and make your ac not work from time to time, but that all can get quiet involved.Hope to hear from you fellow vibe owner with good news

Keep in mind that the radiator fan cycles. It doesn't stay running all the time. That makes it almost impossible to test because you can't predict when the computer chooses to turn it on. First things first I would jump the relay and see if it turns on. If it doesn't check power to the relay. If there's power there then check to see if there's power to the fuse. If there's power to the fuse then check to see if there's power at the connector. If you don't have power at any of these points then you have a wiring issue in between one of those components. The direction of flow goes PCM > Relay > Fuse > Connector.

If the a/c isn't working the computer won't request the relay to be triggered possibly.
I would suspect that if you trouble shoot the ac
You may solve the fan problem at the same time. If the computer gets a ac request and all parameters to engage are met it should trigger the fan relay. If the refrigerant is low or some other condition that the pcm monitors is not met it won't fire the fan relay.

The fan should come on at a certain temperature not just when the ac is on.

Any resolution?
Also
On a side note I had my radiator fan go out at about 80k (wife insist using a/c 24/7-365.
I bought the Dorman replacement assembly
Off amazon seemed to be a solid unit. Only funky thing was it took a little coaxing to get it to line up but it was no big deal. It had a lifetime guarantee and was about 75 bucks delivered. Any one have one of these Dorman replacement fan assemblies.
I had to replace mine due to noise and a completely worn out bearing
