I bought an 04 abyss black GT September, 2014 and kept it mostly stock for 4 months

"murdervibe"

62,334 miles
running 0w-40 Mobil1
K&N box filter

Maintenance Due:
Transmission Oil (not sure what to use)

Current Mods:
PlastiDip badges and wheels
Tein S Tech springs on stock struts
Carbon tint on windows (35%, gotta keep it legal)
dark smoke head and tail lights
yellow fogs

Planned:
Removed the 4-down towing bracket (it will go up for sale here once removed)
DRL/AHL disable
Reverse beep to LED
Sound system
Comsos CAI
BBS style black 18s with unpolished lip (budget willing)

This is not a daily driver, just a fun weekend ride.

Thanks. I gotta figure out how to get that awful looking 4-down towing bracket off the front. All guidance is welcome.

Love the "tinted everything"!
Maintenance Due:
Transmission Oil (not sure what to use)
Manual Tranny: SAE 75W-90 GL-5 gear oil or GM Goodwrench synthetic manual transmission fluid
Automatic: Toyota ATF Type T-IV automatic transmission fluid
I've thought about blacking out the head and taillights but that's another project that will have to wait till I have a garage.

Thanks guys. Still debating the whole GL-4 vs GL-5 thing for the C60 transmission. I'm thinking I'll be using Amsoil 75W-90. Also there is a 6" black stripe going up on the windshield and black carbon fiber look vinyl going on the back window that will say "murdervibe." I'll be sure to post pics.

Hello I like your vibe gt, i have 03 vibe gt, love the car, you did good job so far keep on doing, and shifting.in my case i found that the best mix for transmission was one quart of penzoil synchromesh and the rest redline 75w90, i live in north east and do not drive vibe in the winter. Hey keep us posted with your pictures, it is nice to see somebody doing stuff, i should post some of mine.Nice to see Gt around.Good job
