Hi,

I have an 2003 Vibe. The fuel door hinge just rusted broken. I called local Pontiac service and got an unbelievable price of that part (the gas tank door). $200. I have no idea why it is so expansive.
I find some discussions said that Matrix's fuel door is different from Vibe's. Do anyone know any aftermarket parts and where to get it?

Have you tried looking on eBay and buying one used? You can ask a used parts vendor to sell one if they have none listed.

Thanks for your reply. I tried a couple days but not find the part on ebay. I tried Craigslists, too but the same result. Are there any other car use the same fuel door? I am in the local GM dealer and ask the parts department. The actual price for the fuel door is 272 after tax. Can't believe the price.

It is far cheaper than any I can find (GM, OEM...etc, 150~226). Anyone know that can 09-10 fuel door can be installed on 2003?
