just added sprint 1.75 drop springs, 18 inch icw wheels and general gmax tires....plus some color matching on the interior and chrome door handles...

Very nice! The wheels look really good and the lowering springs give it the perfect stance, not too low, not too high... just right !

thanks yall...they are sprint springs from fleabay...it actually rides better with those springs over stock.im running the original struts still and the alignment was still dead on just had to tweak the tow a bit. next is to find some good sway bars.

when you say it rides better with these lowering springs, what exactly do you mean with "better"? Handling? Soaking up small bumps at lower speeds or higher speeds or any speed? Soaking up large bumps?

I am looking for a proven way to better the ride comfort.

before the ride was smooth but small bumps were harsh, now it has the firmer ride on dips and stuff but the small bumps are no longer harsh...it corners way better and has yet to bottom out or scrape anywhere.its not bouncy either...I read some complained about lowering springs making a car bouncy. the drop was 1.75 0n these springs and I think it turned out perfect.

First gens look really good with a drop. I went down 2" with no clearance or rubbing issues on the stock strut/wheel/tire combo. Just curious, did you cut the bump stops down at all?

nah...just discarded the old shredded boots and put it all back together.

I always want the grill to be black in color as in Blanco's signature picture.

yeah that's next...ill remove the inserts and clean them up real good then paint them with some trim paint I bought...plus since I first posted I've added a wheelskins wheel cover and chrome inside door handles. that wheelskins feels sexy I must say...lol
