Today I ran over something in the road destroying one of my factory hubcaps for my 2006 Pontiac Vibe. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on where and what replacements they have used. I'd like to replace all 4 since they are all starting to look bad. Thanks

If you are planning to stay with hubcaps, I would just find some better condition stock ones on ebay, http://www.car-part.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or even from someone on here. I got a whole set for like $80 from a member for a friend. They have the screw on lug nuts that will hold the hubcaps in place much, much better than any of the aftermarket ones. Aftermarket ones are just friction fit with clips, and have a much greater chance of flying off if you hit a pot hole or something. Eventhough the aftermarket ones are cheap, if one is gone, you would need to buy another set to replace them. Unless you bought two sets at the same time, it might be hard to find the same ones again if you need one a year or so later.

How bad are your stock ones? If you are somewhat handy, they can be repaired and spray painted to look good again. Got any pics?

I bought a center cap from them. It was not as shiny as the ones that were still on my other rims, but it looks a lot better than a hole. They have wheel covers too.

I personally think OEM wheel covers always look best and like trb said, they tend to stay on the wheels much better than cheap aftermarket ones because of the screw on lug nut covers that hold them in place.

As trb also said, have you considered just getting a replacement wheel cover and than re-painting it and the remaining covers? This would be much easier and more cost effective. If you want brand new wheel covers, I would suggest checking out GMPartsCenter.net. I ordered 8 brand new OEM wheel covers from them a couple years ago to use on the steel wheels we put on our Vibes in the winter. Getting brand new ones from them was cheaper than if I had bought used ones on eBay that were all scratched up and all. I think I ended up paying just over $30.00 a piece. They charge a handling fee of $8.95, but don't charge for shipping, so it ended up being a really good deal for 8 brand new wheel covers.

+1 to repainting the OEMs. This is what I did to mine

I sanded them down to the plastic, primed them, and because I had nowhere to spray paint them I had to hand paint them. I was able to spray a few coats of clearcoat on at my school though.
There were a couple cracks in them, a bit of JB Weld took care of that though.
I haven't tested their durability on the road yet, if the paint doesn't hold up I may redo them and plastidip them instead.
