hey guys my friends vibe seems to only start when you push both the clutch and brake at the same time?? never really heard of this before is that a vibe thing or whats the issue??

First off ... Welcome to GenVibe Answer ...NO. It's possible that someone wired an additional switch on the brake pedal? This is not normal and should only need the clutch pedal depressed in order to start the car. Do you own a Vibe or are you speaking on your friends behalf?

I never heard of that in a Vibe either

Some have had issues where the clutch needed to be really mashed into the floor board to activate the clutch to start switch
