?but would it be possible to switch seat supports from left to right and vise versa? if you want to go back futher?

Doubt it. Pretty sure they're not interchangeable.

don't believe so. the brackets bolt at specific points in the car. the drivers side is not the same as the passenger. I found this out when I installed the leather interior a few months ago.

Enven if the brecket were the same, have you though about the safety belt??? It will be on the wrong side of the seat.
