stereo ignition lead dead?

So my stereo recently just stopped working. I pulled it out, and it's built-in and inline fuses on the harness all look good. Put the meter on it, 12V is good, but the "ignition" 12V is showing 0V all the way back to the factory harness. I haven't been able to find an appropriate fuse chart yet - does anyone know if the 12V from the ignition is fused, and which fuse it might be? 2003 vibe GT btw.

So are you saying that the car can not start? Or is just the radio dead?

I can not help, for I don't have the 2003 just have the 2009 Vibe.

just the stereo. the ignition lead from the car's stereo wiring harness appears dead. Hoping there's a fuse somewhere so I don't have to back track through the harness. :(

Did you say that this is the OEM stock radio in the car?

not OEM. The problem doesn't seem to be with the stereo - I am testing with VOM off of the car's actual harness.

On 2003-2008's, the power for the radio comes from the same fuse that powers the in dash 12V outlet. I've had issues with my 12V outlet over the years and have blown that fuse more times than I can remember. It's in the (insert profanity here) under dash fuse block, the 15A "CIG" fuse. It is switched by the ignition switch, but comes from the CIG fuse,

Welcome to genvibe! (looks like your first post)

yep, I did. turned out it was a fuse in the fuse block under the dash. I just had to go through all of them until I found the dead one.
