I'm having an odd issue whenever I open and close the drivers door I can hear the hatch lock click twice. I'm not sure if it is locking then unlocking or unlocking twice. Anybody else ever experience this?

First off .... Welcome to GenVibe. A bit more info would be needed to better assist you. Year, engine size, trim level, etc. Not sure on your Vibe BUT on some other GM cars it is not uncommon for other doors to lock/unlock especially if the engine is running vs. being parked and off. Some Vibes, including mine, would lock the entire car out of the blue when just sitting there warming up. Good thing I was at home to retrieve my spare and unlock the car.
Are you hitting the lock button prior to closing the door? I know on my old 10 GT the hatch would not actually lock until I closed it, and once the hatch latched, then I would hear the lock click. Some kind of delayed action I believe to make sure the hatch is latched. Maybe closing the driver's door is activating the lock system again?

Are one of the locks sticking? During extremely hot and/or humid weather, one of my front two door locks like to not work; they take turns and it's quite annoying. The only thing I can figure out is upon locking the car, it can tell that one of the locks is still "unlocked", so it attempts to lock them again. I have to find which one it is and lock it manually.
Try sitting inside the car and locking it with the fob, looking to see if any of the locks get stuck. One could be getting stuck, and the second locking attempt actually works, so the only way would be to physically see it not working the first time.
Are you sure its just the hatch lock engaging twice? The others should try to lock as well, though they are harder to hear over the THUNK of the rear hatch locking.
