My new shift knob

Yes yes yes it is an automatic but at least it is classier now lol :) what do you all think?

Interesting...

I'd like to see a picture showing the side view. It's hard to get a good look at what it actually looks like in the picture you posted...

That does look nice, even on an automatic! :D That was one thing I disliked about the 10 GT - the flimsy looking shifter and knob. I wanted to swap over a knob and boot from a manual Vibe to make it look a little bit neater, but never got the chance. Good choice on it!

I did this on both my former Sunfires. I cut the shifter down a bit and then used an OEM manual shift boot. It looked so much better.

I actually like the shift knob on the 2009-2010 auto Vibe GTs, especially with the now-discontinued GM chrome overlay on it :cool:.

It was really easy to change. Twist the OEM shifter counter clock wise till it comes off and really follow the instructions on how to place the new shifter. It took me literally 5 minutes to swap it. :)
