Another a/c issue

So my air conditioning on my 2003 gt isn't working.
When I hit the ac button, the light comes on. The engine revs up. The clutch does not engage. Figured the refrigerant was low so I put a gauge on it. About 100 psi. Reading on the Internet says the pressure should be about 50 psi or so when the unit is not running. I swapped the relay from the horn to the ac clutch, still didn't work.
What else to try?

Check to see if the clutch is getting voltage. Could be a clutch failure.

Is that the gray plug on top of the compressor? It looks to be just one wire. Just see if I'm getting power to that harness?
I'll have to check on Friday, I'm away on business right now. I hope is something simple. I read it could be bad coil? Gotta change the clutch if that's the case, right?

Yeah, that's the one. I assume it should be at 12V with the A/C on and 0V with it off. Disconnect it and measure the voltage between it and ground with the A/C both on and off.

And if I do get 12v, then the clutch/coil must be bad and need replaced, right?

Ok, I get 14v at the plug when I turn it on. Bad clutch coil, I assume. Should I buy a new one or get one out of a used compressor?
A new acdelco can be had for about $115. A new four seasons one can be had for about $110 after shipping. Does anyone know of a cheaper one?

Get the Delco. It's worth it, trust me.
