This is an 03 GT.
I tore appears everything in the car to try to get the smell of of it.
I cannot figure out where these two harnesses plug in to.

I assumed they are unused and buttoned it up. Now I don't have the reverse beep - what else don't I have, I don't know.
Anyone know where they plug in to?
I know, it's my stupid, careless mistake for not remembering / taking a picture.

I can't tell from the picture, is this the front center console area with the shifter?
If so one is likely the rear O2 sensor lead. Not sure about the other one, I believe the Reverse switch is on the transmission.

I'm pretty sure the larger one is the rear O2 sensor connector and the smaller one may be a seat belt buckle sensor connector.

Aside from no beep any other issues? I have an 03 GT and will look at my wiring this weekend only because there is an issue with the short shifter hitting something when going to 5th or 6th

Thanks, salsa. I think I found the problem. I forgot to plug the little gray plug back into the top of the transmission. I have beep now. But while you have it taken apart, take a look at those plus and tell me if they're supposed to be plugged in! Thanks!

Ok... I think I may have found out what it really is... I drove the thing at night today. No lights in the center piece under the radio! Where do these plugs go?!
Edit*
I took the 04 auto apart and it looks like these plugs have to do with the shifter lights and something else with the shifter - over drive off?

Anyways, I played with the 03 GT again and discovered that if I turned the light switch on, it would turn on my radio and climate control lights (minus one burned out bulb).
Why don't the lights come on automatically like on my 04?

If you have DRL's only and no parking/tail/interior lighting when it is dark, I would start looking at the automatic headlight control. Simply unplugging the ambient light sensor can make it behave in this fashion. To check that, pull the trim rings around the cluster and look up and left for a small harness with 3 wires. There's a connection near the cluster and the wiring continues to the sensor in the top left corner of the dash.
