I couldn't sleep last night so I decided to fix the shift boot.

Not bad Ken considering you had a household type sewing machine instead of an industrial one

That's where I got my start back in the 70's when I borrowed my moms Singer Golden touch & Sew machine until I broke it (it wasn't intended to sew heavy fabrics). Then I eventually got my current Pfaff 545 industrial machine

The grade of Naugahyde you got there resembles Black leather, which is the goal anyways! Yeah $8 on E-bay would be the easy way out BUT you got sooooo much more satisfaction out of sewing up your own. Great job and thanks for posting all the pics

My lines aren't very straight. It could be a lot better.
