I couldn't sleep last night so I decided to fix the shift boot.

Not bad Ken considering you had a household type sewing machine instead of an industrial one ;) That's where I got my start back in the 70's when I borrowed my moms Singer Golden touch & Sew machine until I broke it (it wasn't intended to sew heavy fabrics). Then I eventually got my current Pfaff 545 industrial machine :) The grade of Naugahyde you got there resembles Black leather, which is the goal anyways! Yeah $8 on E-bay would be the easy way out BUT you got sooooo much more satisfaction out of sewing up your own. Great job and thanks for posting all the pics :D

My lines aren't very straight. It could be a lot better.
