I've repaired them before with duct tape and black paint with good success. I also just bought a new drivers side for $28.16 shipped. http://www.ebay.com/itm/350694911983?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

If you are just trying to cover a small hole, proper surface prep (with etching of the plastic), some JB weld and a piece of black plastic. You will have to tape the piece in place until the JB weld cures. This may get you by for a while, but as the plastic heats and cools, the patch could eventually come loose.

The liner can be purchased for under $35, with some basic tools it can be replaced. Big thing is a good set of jack stands to keep the car up in the air and a variety of screwdrivers to tuck the liner back into the body/cladding. Taking time on this project is important, you have to cut the old liner out and put the new one in without removing the plastic fender trim.
