Me! Traded in the Mazda 3 and am picking up on Friday (God willing) a 2010 Matrix XR with 21 000 kms (about 13k miles)

I am in love! Low kilometers, fantastic shape, loaded, automatic, 2.4 L engine, 17inch mags and moonroof. What do you guys think? Let me know

Looks awesome! I've always preferred the rear of the Matrix since its tail lamps aren't HUGE.

That's really low mileage for a 4 year old car! How low did you bargain them down?

Nice pick up! Like the color and the spoiler. The 2nd Gen Vibe/Matrix just seem to be...not as pretty or functional imho.

In hindsight, I think so too -- they've grown on me over the years. Those with the "sporty" bits added on the bumpers and such are pretty sharp. The grey looks really good on this car.

Thanks everyone! It was quite the steal let me tell you. I've been looking at Vibes and Matrixs for the last few weeks on Autotrader and fell on this one Monday night. Tuesday afternoon afterwork went and see it, went back Wednesday and nego a great deal.

The dealership (Toyota Spinelli Pointe Claire) was very generous with what they offered for my 3. After some back back and forth we settled on a fair price. Everyone wins

Right now, only mods will be tinting the windows, after that we will see Picking her up tomorrow and will post more pics.

Hows the 2.4L engine? The 1.8L left a lot to be desired for me, but it was zippy in the city drivin'

It responds pretty well and drives really nice I opened her up a little this afternoon on the highway and it drove very well.

Tint percentage is 20% all around and 70% for the front windows.

I pass a Matrix S in the same color as yours almost everyday on my way to work and I always think how much I like the color.
