An inch seems barely noticeable!

I have Tein H-Tech springs and they lowered it about 2". No problems with clearance for the ground or the stock wheels/tires. If you just want to go 1" I'd recommend the TRD springs for a Toyota Matrix. I think the drop is just about an inch and those springs are factory rather than aftermarket, if you care about such things.

I have S-techs and have only scraped about twice, not including my splashguards (1" of clearance in fronts mean they see a lot of action): once on a weird speedbump, and once on a parking spot divider than I rolled over at about 1 MPH. Oh, and I hit a lava rock when I was NM. I'd honestly say that the S-techs only take it down to what is normal for a small car since the Vibe is a bit lifted.

Thanks for the help! Im only looming to go an inch, seeing as how I love in newfoundland and we still use salt on our roads, pot holes here are massive and the city does a terrible job of fixing the road, my stock height vibe scrapes with two people on the back! I will probably look into the TRD springs. Would I just go see my local toyota dealship for them?

Check out TRD Sparks. I'm pretty sure they will ship to Canada. Just enter the year of your Vibe, followed by Matrix (obviously) and then whatever submodel i.e. AWD, Base, etc. Their prices are awesome and their shipping is super fast! Great place to deal with!

you're likely better off getting eibach prokits (eibach makes the trd springs)

contact garm or jeff at microimageonline.com...i suggest a call. they typically have the best prices on stuff and are happy to ship to canada

Pro-Kits are what I have on my Civic and while I love them I would think they would drop a Vibe about 1.5". In fact, OP didn't mention what generation Vibe he has - if it is 2nd gen Pro-Kits might lower it more like 2".
