Promise you won't laugh? LED clock upgrade (downgrade?)

I realize this guarantees my red-neck card, but I got tired of looking at my Vibes blank radio screen. It hasn't worked since I bought the car nearly two years ago. So, to at least have a clock, I stuck a $5 led clock from an auto store onto the radio display. It looks a little in goofy in pictures, but I assure you, in person it looks Terrible!

Ha! Awesome! I went without a clock for a long time with the CLarion stereo. Horrible. Couldn't get it to show a clock instead of their stupid demo or screensaver screen.

I don't even use the clock on my JVC headunit. Though this exact fix was used on my sister's Aveo. We kept the clock when we sold the car for some reason.

How can anyone laugh at this mod. And to thing all the colors blend together with the gray theme of the original dash & components
