Well my Christmas present was a car wreck that totaled my 99 Dodge Ram. So for a month, I searched for a car that met every requirement I presented. The vibe was the answer to all my questions. So, I wanted to make it as eye catching and cool as I can while being on a budget. Whatcha guys think? :)

Good start you have there! It's a long journey to the end of the custom road, but it's such a fun ride.

Welcome to GenVibe! It's been a long time since we've had anyone from the Chicagoland area join! Unfortunately, we haven't had any Chicagoland get togethers in a couple years, but perhaps it's time to get another one setup! You should also consider attending the GenVibe Meet in Pontiac, Illinois on July 4th weekend (click the link in my signature below). We had a great time last year and it wouldn't be too far of a drive for you. I'm in Sandwich and Pontiac is about a two hour drive for me, so for you it'd probably be a 3-4 hour drive. We had about 12-15 Vibes and their owners in attendance last year.

Great job on the Vibe so far! The black and grey go great together. Do you have any more mods planned for the future?

I took off the plastic ends and dipped them. looking back i wish i would have taken more time on them. they are starting to chip a little already.

Tint is always a great addition to any vehicle!

That sucks :(.

I forgot to mention in my first post, you should get some 2003-2004 Vibe headlights. They're exactly the same as the current ones on your Vibe except they're black instead of chrome. They'd go great with the black/grey theme you've got going !

Great looking Vibe! Love the colour combo.

I'm interested in dipping my rails. Any words of advise?

I got the 03-04 headlights, and they look awesome! Definitely the way to go.

Check out my garage post. I PlastiDipped my silver interior bits. I think that'd look great with the theme you've got going on.

Cheers! :)

I would suggest keeping the plastic caps on the rail when plasti dipping. they're a pain to take off and put on. tape off the roof and the rest of the car REALLY well because its a lot of over spray all over.

I'll check out your car and thanks for the tip! :D

UPDATE

Just installed new Rockford Punch series speakers all around and a fresh 20% tint with a 5% visor on the windshield.

Head unit and plasti dipped interior coming soon (suggested by NolanVoid)
