GenVibe - Community for Pontiac Vibe Enthusiasts

Hey everybody. This is my first post. I stumbled across a Vibe at the Pontiac Dealer about a week ago and I love it! Never even knew what a Vibe was. The cargo room is way cool. A lot more than my current 95 Firebird. I think the cargo space and the Toyota reliability are the biggest selling points. A close second are the fresh new looks and the respectable performance. I'm looking to buy within a year and am debating if I should get an abyss monochrome Vibe GT (I wouldn't even consider the base) and hope to god a freakn supercharger will come out for it, or wait on something a lot faster but with no practical use and for more money (rx-8 or infiniti G35 coupe). Just wondering what you guys thought- perhaps i'm comparing apples and oranges here.

Well...............I would say apples and Carambola. If you have the budget for an RX-8 there is no reason to compare. If you want a sedan for under 30 gran US the list is long, Acura 3.2 TL Type S, Audi A4 1.8 T quattro, BMW 3 Series 325xi, Cadillac CTS Sedan, Jaguar X-Type 2.5-Liter, Lexus IS 300 5-Speed Sedan, Lexus ES 300 Sedan, Mercedes-Benz C-Class C240 Sedan, Nissan Maxima SE, Saab 9-3 SE 5-Door HOT, Volkswagen Passat GLX Sedan, and on and on.
