So I bought a Greddy emanage Ultimate with an '03 harness, which is about 5 wires different from my DBW '06 (1ZZ). I asked Boomslang about repinning, and they simply said no.

I contacted Monkeywrenchracing.com , and was told "sure!" and quoted $135. If Boomslang will not repin your harness and you can't repin it or find someone to trade with you, etc., try ringing up MWR. They're always helpful and polite. I am actually going to be doing this work myself thanks to certain people finding me the info I needed, as well as what is probably excessive confidence in my abilities, but I'm really glad that they were willing to do so for less than half the cost of the harness. That's an option I didn't think I actually had.

Sounds like you're really "pumped" and excited to perform this mod. What really impresses me is what I highlighted in your quote above. I know you'll pull this off and succeed because of your positive attitude which allows you to have such high confidence in your work. You go girl

The last time I pinned a harness, I was actually soldering onto existing pins to make what were more like computer cords. I burned the daylight out of one of my fingers last time I soldered because I was passing the iron back and forth under my driver's door (didn't bring the stand inside because I didn't want to burn myself LOL) and zoned out. This doesn't look like soldering will be involved, which is great because my finger isn't fully healed. It's still missing a 2 mm diameter spot of fingerprint.

It would need to be rewired not re-pinned. And yes solder would be involved. I'll do it for you at no cost you just pay shipping. Take me 30 minutes, a pair of strong reading glasses and a few beers...after I get done of course. There's no way in H*LL I would try and re-pin those things, more headache that it's worth trust me on that one.

BOO! Well, I'm pretty good at soldering. At least I can do this one at a desk and don't have to do it onboard.

Working with the stock harness is no fun. Getting under the dash with a flashlight, soldering iron, shrink tube and diagrams is pretty interesting. I had to solder 3 12 pin molex connectors along with some wire extensions. Looking back wishing I had purchased a Patch Harness. Right now the 3 connector are sill in there and have no plans to remove them.
