anyone?

Looking for a rear wiper motor.. Really what I need if you have an old motor that is seized, if you take off the metal plate that has four screws. There is a plastic gear that the wiper motor runs. Mine is stripped. I Just need that gear.

Hate to buy a new motor just because of that gear.

But either way if you have a good motor, or a siezed one let me know..

In NB, Canada

You can find a used motor quite cheaply. There are two reasons they strip. Ice and heavy snow. More commonly the cause is corrosion where the shaft comes through the rear window. There is an excellent How To on this site, if you can find it.

I found it. The corrosion part is towards the end of the thread.

P.S. What part of New Brunswick? My bother is in Bathurst and just sent me pictures of 6+ feet of snow on his lawn still.

Yep the shaft was seized, the gear must have been damaged too, free'd up the shaft. The gear teeth stripped out in one section...
Whats cheap and used? I've been finding in the $100 range.

Moncton, and Yes it has been a good winter.

$35-50 bucks on Ebay. Shipping to NB may be a lot though. I get all my stuff shipped to Ogdensburg, NY, about 45 minutes from Ottawa.

I had the same gear problem with a Subaru and had to buy a used motor.
