Hi guys I'm just new to genvibe since i'm a proud owner of a 2004 dark grey vibe. I just bought it in
january, and made some minor maintenance.
I want to paint my grill 'cause is a little bit faded, but i don't know if i have to plastidipped or
paint it with a coat of black spray, i'm just new to this. What kind of product should I use?
Thanks for your answers, greetings from Mexico.

Welcome to GenVibe! I too will be using Krylon Fusion satin black to repaint the grilles and some other exterior pieces on both our Vibes when the weather here gets a little warmer.

I'd like to do this as well.... But after 12 years, all those rock chips and bug remnants permanently affixed to the clearcoat, I suppose faded grilles are the least of my worries.

Actually my Vibe has rock chips as well, but definitely paint the grill is something cheaper than paint my hood.
and to top it off I tried to polish the hood by hand and now all those rock chips have white residue.
