Hey Guys,
For the last few weeks I've been hearing grinding and screaching coming from my front breaks. I thought it was the fqaarily new breaks I had installed not long ago so I bought new ones and when I went to replace them the pads were still new. So it isn't the breaks. What could it be? It sounds just like the breaks. Its very weird. The other weird thing is that the noise comes and goes. I don't know what triggers it or what stops it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have snow? if snow gets packed in the rims around the rotors and calipers, some crunching noises can be heard.

The rotor shield could have been bent in. Had the same problem after replacing my CV axel.
