VSC Light and transmission disengaging

2009, GT, 2.4L, 52K miles...Problem started with VSC, check engine and skid icon on. Turned VSC off ran ok for a day then the transmission feels like it is disengaging. Barley got it home. I have checked wheel sensors for wiring problems....seem OK.

not comfortable driving it to advance auto..may get stranded . I am going to check for electrical connections associated with the tranny.

This thing could be heat related. Tranny work fine driving around the neighborhood. took it out on the road and it started acting up after 15 minutes.

See if you can rent or buy anything that can pull the codes. Some OBDII readers are below $50. Really gotta have that code. You may even consider calling around local shops for a house call (my old boss charged $50 for house calls, though).
Here's a reader from advance for $40. Maybe you can buy it, scan, then return it.
