Playing right now:Music from Weird Al's "Poodle Hat" CDMusic I like: Classic rock, Trance, Techno, alternative, rock, heavy stuff, industrial, *goes on and on*If it has a beat, I tend to like it. If it has real instruments instead of just thumping bass and some dude talking, I like it.And yes, the 80's farkin' kicked (removed).

I listen to lots of different music, as long as it all rocks. My favorite type of music is hard rock/metal, especially the "old school" type 80's hard rock/metal I grew up with. If playing all my old metal cd's with the "volume knob turned up to 11" (Spinal Tap movie reference) is wrong, I don't want to be right."Metalhead 'til I'm dead""If you can still think, the music isn't too loud""If it IS too loud, your're too old""New Wave music? What's that?"

If you want KoRn's cover of Metallica's "One" you might want to pick up the Tomb Raider Single... has their new single "Did My Time", a remix of it and their cover of "One" Live from the Mtv Icon show they did for 'tallica. I think it is about $4 at Best Buy, well worth it. I went to Ozzfest as well and was a great show... I didn't get to see Ozzy last year and System of a Down played a double set (it was great), but I did get to see him this year (with Jason on bass!).Since we have so many fan of rock and metal... you may want to take a peek at the Freddy vs. Jason Soundtrack by Roadrunner Records. It is full of great music from a lot of heavy bands: Ill NinoKillswitch EngageSpineshankMushroomheadHatebreedSlipknotChimairaSeetherStone SourNothingface... just to name a few.Worth it to check out and go see the movie on Aug. 15!!!

Whoa. Simmer down now What annoys me is that the WWJD thing was such a trend. I'm sure Jesus was up there the whole time going "now I've got the teenagers buying into my marketing scheme, but how do I move up to the 20-somethings?" I'm not dissing my religion or anything, but I was glad that trend died.

I got 'em now. they're wearing bracelets and T-shirts!" I doubt that was on his list of things to accomplish. I've always grown up in the Christian church, went to a Christian University, and participated in all the events that you're supposed to in the Christian life (for the most part). At one time in my life I even served as the youth intern. Life happens and people change, sometime for good and sometimes for bad. I believe there's nothing wrong with outwardly telling others what you believe. However, i do have a problem with those who don't back up what they preach. I think that is the biggest downfall of the church: hypocracy. Jesus had the Pharisees back in his time, so not much has changed.I've dealt with both in my life, and I've been both in my life. so, i understand the thinking behind it. why is it any different from us coming together on this forum to discuss how much we love our Vibes? If they had a T-shirt, we'd all buy one. when the votes are all in for the contest, we know we're going to get one. So, why is it wrong for others to wear a T-shirt that says they love God or Jesus? As long as they really do and walk the talk, there shouldn't be a problem. if not, then they will have bigger issues to discuss with Him when that time comes.
