Mine definitely closes flush with the dash...might've warped from the heat? Definitely needs an adjustment (or replacement).

There was a Question Mark (?) in the filename which probably confused some browsers (worked ok initially for me).I've corrected the initial post and the one by silverawd26. It should be all good now!

I'll change it to a stock one. It shows up fine on my Mac!?The picture of the glovebox makes it look worse than it is, but I will bring it in. Thanks for the feedback.

quote:Thats Bizzarro.Yes it is working fine on my end now also. For some reason, it would "stall" I.E. on alot of memeber's machines and not let most of the graphics load. Once we accessed a post that did this, we would have to completely shut down I.E. because even other web pages we would visit after that (not only genvibe) would stall out. (????????)Anyways, thanks for changing your avatar. I don't know if it's the format or what that works on a Mac and not on others, or what, but it is frustrating.quote:Think Nick has to get on this one... I think Microsoft needs to get on this one....Thanks again,Carl

Pix Doc: Do you use Safari?I think there is a problem with the way Safari or even other Mac browsers upload the avatars to GenVibe itself, but then again, the images work fine on other Macs as well as some PC browsers.MS needs to get its head outta its rear and make something that works.

Well I am checking this from my work PC that has an ancient version of IE. I am leaving in a few to go home and I will re-chck it there, but everyone is accounted for on this machine.

I don't think it is a major problem to fix your glove box.The first time I checked my a/c filter (which is located behind the glovebox), I had some problems putting it back in correctly. I now know how to do it without unhooking the door. But on that 1st time, I had accidentally pulled the door off of the hinges, and it looked just like your picture when I tried to close it. After a couple of minutes of playing with it, I fixed it myself.

LOL I guess I should have tried that first. It may have taken more time to take the photos and post them than it would have taken to fix it! I will mess with it on my next day off. Thanks for the suggestion.

Unacceptable. You probably have a misshapen glove box door, caused by poor molding. If they try to cool the plastic too fast at the vendor, it will warp or bend. If the dumbass service department has tried evreything to adjust the door, and it still doesn't fit right, demand a new door. It's a easy, quick, cheap fix and shouldn't be a problem, but this is GM we're talking about here.

Try a different dealer Pix Doc.Some dealers act as if it's an insult to them to be fixing not mechanical things. Other dealers value their customers, and will go out of their way to make sure your happy, and will fix whatever you tell them to.Maybe you just need to try your luck at another dealer...But sorry for the unsuccessful service visit.

They are installing a new Shifter Compartment door that keeps flopping open and the trim around the electric windows/locks that had a gouge in it when I got the car. I will let you know how it goes on my next visit...
