Okay so our vibe is a 2003 base model 5 speed, 115k miles on it, around 5k miles ago the front left end started sqeaking and creaking when getting in or out and while going around curves or over bumps, it has gotten progressively worse. Any ideas on what it could be?

There are a lot of different things in the front end that could potentially cause that behaviour. Warn out bushings, swaybar end-link, failed strut/top-hat bearing, tie rod end. This is something that needs to be inspected.
