Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has swapped front ends between the 05-07 and 03-04? I am looking to get another vibe but I much prefer the 03-04 front end. Problem is, there's more 05-07 models around. I saw these two posts, but noone definately confirmed/denied that it will work.

Pretty sure its just the bumper that changed...03/04 should bolt onto an 05-08

Hood, fenders, bumper reinforcement bar, headlights, and foglights are all the same from 03 through 08. It should all fit together. I think I saw a Vibe in my area for sale which was an 05 (no two-tier center console, no roof rack crossbars, chrome headlight surrounds), but it had an 03/04 bumper.

I wound up getting an 06, it's all black with spoilers on the back. Not bad looking at all. So so far I think I'm happy with the front end.

I have an 04 and two 06 Vibes, I like the look of the 03/04 front end, the 05/08 seems too rounded off and the grill depth styling of the newer vibes just does not look as good as the early ones.

So, everyone says it should fit, but has anyone actually done it? If so please post some pictures and tell us how much was involved in getting it done.

I haven't done it, but that's because I don't have access to an 05-08 model. If I had free range to any Vibe I wanted to fiddle with, I'd give it a go in a heartbeat.

Anything is possible with enough duct tape.

Next time you're in TX, we can swap. Only takes like 15 minutes to remove with no electric screwdriver.
