Steel Wheels For Vibe?

Hi, I'm new. I have 2 Vibes; a 2003 regular 1.8l which my daughter drives, and 2009 GT 2.4l for myself.
I am trying to find steel rims for GT. The best price on the internet is $110 each!!!! For a plain steel rim!!
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find rims for the GT that are closer in price to the 1.8l (aprox $70 each)?
I think I read something about Camry rims fit on Vibes? Do they fit the GT? What about Matrix rims? Would the GT take the Matrix S wheel?
John

5-114 bolt pattern... all 2.4L Vibe/Matrix have this pattern. All you'll need to do is make sure the hub size and offset are good.

Has anyone tried the multi fit wheels? Apparently they have elongated holes to accomodate both 100mm & 115mm.
Elongated holes does not reassure me.
The Matrix rims seem to be as expensive as the Vibe GT ($139 each)

I bought 16 inch Camry steel wheels for my 09 2.4L vibe.
59$ each at the Toyota Dealer back in 2008.
Any wheel from a 09+ matrix will do as long as it's from the 2.4L model.
You'll also need a new set of lugnuts since alloys and steelies nuts are different.
You CAN use the original alloy nuts but it's better to get regular ones.

If you have elongated holes you better have the exact right bore size. I wouldn't try them.
Try local junkyards. Start at car-part.com. They should be able to hook you up for $50-$70 each for the 16" wheels.

Thanks guys. I will try looking at Camry rims to start. My local bone yards can't find anything for the 2.4l Vibe/Matrix. What I've seen online is around $140. Except I see the multi fit for $65 each.
I will try the car-part site.
Thanks for the lug tip!

Craigslist is a good resource for used wheels for cheap.

It appears to me that these multi-fit rims are only for 5X114 hubs! The "multi-fit" appears to mean multi brands/models of vehicles with 5X114 hubs. They list no 5X100mm vehicles that I can see. Picture shows non-elongated holes. $40.00 is cheap enough, but I would suggest adding a $10.00 set of hub spacers off of EBAY.

The winter wheels we have on both our 2009 Vibe GTs are actually Camry 16" steel wheels. All four of the wheels for my mom's Vibe were take-offs from eBay (had less than 1000 miles on them). Three of mine came from Craig's List (again, take-offs with less than 1000 miles on them) and the fourth one for my Vibe came from a local junkyard (again, a take-off with less than 1000 miles). I forget exactly how much we paid for all of them, but I know it was around $50.00 a wheel. I highly recommend looking for take-offs. They are practically brand new for a fraction of the price. Take-offs are generally when someone wants alloy wheels for their car, so they "take-off" the steel wheels in favor of the alloy wheels. You may even want to try a Toyota dealer to see if they have any take-offs they're selling.
