03 vibe 5 speed to 6 speed

So I have an 03 vibe, and my 5 speed... well you know
I'm trying to find a 6 speed but can't and I don't really know what I'm looking for. Any help would be great. I'm from California so I would like to find one close to me.

Welcome! The 5-speed is the C59 transmission, while what you're looking for is the C60 transmission used in the Vibe GT, Matrix XRS, Corolla XRS, and the Celica GT-S. car-part.com can help you source junkyards with transmissions. Maybe look for someone parting out one of the above cars on Craigslist, too.

The Celica has a different shift linkage
You want a transmission from an 03-06 matrix XRS/vibe GT or an 05-06 corolla xrs
