New member needs urgent help

Hi I purchased a 2004 Vibe GT and the ac went out. Had someone check it and he says ac main plug is missing. The wires were bypassed to make ac work on high. Any suggestions? Part? Easy to install?

Sell. Obviously, there was an issue with the AC (and possibly other components), since the wires were bypassed so it can run on high. There could be other issues with the HVAC system as well, that have not surfaced yet. If the person does not know what they're doing with wiring, they can cause a big mess. AC going out is giving you a clue.

It's pretty hard to assess a butchered wiring problem over the net. You need a good mechanic who should be able to tell you fairly quickly what your car needs. Good luck, let us know how it goes!

Not really sure what "AC main plug" means. Any idea where it is, what it hooks up to?
is it a problem with the air conditioner, or the inside blower/fan for heat/ac?
