I have an 03 Abyss Base Vibe, with Moon and Tunes package. My girlfriends brother is getting rid of his box and amp (2 10" pinoeers and a 400 watt amp) all setup for $175 so I want to get it off him, but I really do not want to replace my stock stereo I like how it looks and sound in my car. Here is my question... Is there anyway to hook this box and amp up to my stock stereo without having to replace the deck? Please let me know Thanks.

Yes. BUT.I added my old subs to the NAV system. The amp either needs hi-level inputs..or you need to spend about $30 on a speaker-level to RCA converter to connect to the amp.Get an amp wiring kit to run the power, and you're set. You can add a sub to any car stereo, though it does take a little bit of creativity.I have a lightning Audio B2.350.1 which is a mono amplifier with hi-level inputs and a remote level control.

es it is possible but instead of running RCA's to your radio they tap into the sstem hrouh your speakers using a modulator. The modulator only costs about $10 or less usually. It can be done.

Both way are good. Using an RCA converter with adjustable gain or simply use the hight level input of you amp.I had a sub with the factory HU in one of my previous car. To feed the remote of the amp., I used the accessory 12V of the HU, a relay and a toggle switch (to be able to turn on/off the amp).

I will have to try something, I will bring my car to the local accessories store and see what they do, my friend works there so maybe they will give me a good deal LoL
