Hello I am new here.

I bought my first vibe in 2006 specifically to carry my mother and her Wheelchair. It was quite simply the best small car I ever bought.
I now own two. Just yesterday bought a 2009 Red GT model.
(lots of jokes of course)
Also looks like a fine car.

I will need some advice on the keys for the 2009. I have 4 fobs and keys for the 2006 but it seems much trickier to get keys for the 2009

Once you get the blanks cut (any locksmith shop for a few bucks) then you program it yourself. Done it for one of our Vibes and all went well.

It does depend on if you have the security key system as to which keys you can use. Standard in Canada, optional in US, it shows the Security light in the airbag indicator panel and plastic around the ignition key slot. My 2010 red GT does not have the security system so the local locksmith just cut me a regular Toyota key as a spare for $1, and I ordered another remote fob key from ebay that he cut, and I programmed the key fob part myself.

Got ya beat, have three Vibes, welcome to the site.

Both me and "My girl" have Vibes... I of course have the 03 GT and TODAY she bought this 2009 Carbon Grey Metallic AWD!

AND...get this... This is Both of our SECOND VIBE!!! She used to own an 03 AWD and I had an 04 awd.... so that makes 4 total! (I was "behind" the purchase of both of hers)

Here's her new 09 2.4 AWD with 50K miles...
If you look close you can see the one flaw... a tiny dent!
