Need to replace the driver's side headlight assembly. Got damaged by part of a deer.
Recommendations of places/brands to buy.
Recommendations of places/brands NOT to buy.
I thought I read somewhere that I just have to remove the front full fascia and then the assembly is easily replaced?
Thanks in advance.
I've been gone for awhile...waaaaaay to much to get caught up in one sitting.

I'd say you should generally be okay with most brands. I have DEPO lights on the Vibe, and they're fine as far as quality. You don't necessarily need to remove the entire front bumper, but to keep from giving your Vibe crows feet (AKA flexing the paint too much in the corner by the headlamp) removing the entire cover could be better. It's easy:
-Open hood, unscrew rubber hood stops.
-Pull pins holding upper grille to bumper (not sure how it is different on the 05+ models)
-undo the screw bolts holding the plastic fender lining to the bumper. There will be two per side, one by the bumper's lower corner, and one below the fog lamps. (10mm each)
-Pull two pins under the bumper (above the lower grille) which hold the plastic cover to the metal bumper bar.
-In each upper corner there is a bolt holding the bumper cover to the fender. (10mm) You will need to pull back the fender lining to access it.
-Tug each corner until it is free from the clips under the sides of the headlamps.
If you want to just pull it off enough to get one lamp off, leave the fender lining screws and bumper-to-fender screws in place.
Hope this helps! I've done this enough so I'm under ten minutes.

What am I looking at to be sure mine matches the kind I have? I don't want to buy a pair just to match.
