my 09 GT driver door will not lock when the FOB is pressed to lock, if locked manually and FOB is pressed to unlock it will not unlock. what might be the issue? also lights do not flash when FOB is pushed to lock, only unlock

Let me get this straight Cole... you now have a 2009 Vibe GT and you haven't posted pictures of it on here yet ?

Oh did I not mention that??? Lol... Yes I have an 09 GT now. But want to know if my issue can be resolved and what could be causing said issue

Bad door lock servo? If it's intermittent, check the harness to the locking mechanism.

ive tried locking the driver door manually and then using the FOB to lock up and the lights now flash. another thing i notice was if i just use the FOB the doors sound like they are trying to lock twice... could that mean that the driver door lock is malfunctioning or a bad connection?

Hmmmmmm ... a longtime member slacking on us Anyways it sounds like a connection issue. Not sure where to begin looking though. Any severe shock to the car lately? You know like running over a pothole, car in an accident, or any other way for some connectors to possible get damaged or come loose
