New Member and New Vibe 09 owner!

Hey Guys ! Just found that board for the Vibe ! it is awesome !
I have a 09 Vibe with the 2.4L I am very happy so far with this car. Like the power of the engine, I love the rims on this car, handling and the look of it.
Paint is awesome too. I'm from Canada. My car has about 32,000 miles on it.
Looking forward to read you all and share our passion about the Vibe !

Welcome to Genvibe! I have the same set up (love those factory rims) - where is Canada are you from?

I'm in Montreal exactly ! Yah this car is awesome, I love it. If i am not mistaken, it is all Toyota Camery mechanic inside ?
I would like to do a bit of tuning on it to improve the performance, but still I am surprise on this engine. Everybody told me to go with the 2.4L instead of the 1.8L.
Now I know why !

The 2.4L Vibes have the engine and brakes from the Camry, but the rest of the car is based on the Corolla/Matrix twins. Welcome to GenVibe!

Hi, no I don't have that rattle.
How many miles do you have on your car ? Sometimes it could be as simple as I plastic that got loose and need to be tighten. Let me know.

Welcome to GenVibe Martin! That's definitely a very sharp looking Carbon Grey Metallic Vibe you've got there
! Those wheels are very nice, especially for OEM!
Since you have the 2.4L engine, I highly recommend getting a
K&N intake for it. It really wakes the engine up. It gives it a nice growl and you will feel a little increase in the power when you step on the gas as well. If you drive carefully with it, you can also get a slight increase in your gas mileage.

Hey Vibenvy ! thanks for the tip and for the welcome words, I will certainly be looking for that piece. I know the engine makes already a nice sound on high rev, so with that added on, it will be perfect
