this tuesday i will be taking my Vibe GT on yet another long road trip back to florida so that i may continue my overpriced education at the Florida institute of technology. I will tell you all how much of my crap i moved down there, and I will keep track of my gas mileage for people (Lori) on this website. so if you have any other questions about speed traps, and long term travel just let me know, i can answer most of them since this is my fourth long drive in the Vibe.yogi

okay i made it to florida yesterday but it took me a long time to get my stuff together, and its still not all done yet. but anyway i told you all i would crunch the numbers on gas for the long trip from michigan to florida. And here they are:Stop 1..........334.2miles......10.381gal......32.193mpgStop 2..........329.2miles......11.079gal......29.714mpgStop 3..........350.4miles......11.437gal......30.634mpgStop 4..........323.7miles......11.621gal......27.855mpgtotal of 1337.5 miles travelled using 44.518 u.s. gallons of Petrol makes out for an overall 30.04mpg.i know these numbers may seem low, but that is prolly because i do not drive the car where the overdirve wants you to between 70 and 75 (except through georgia), i mostly drive 80 to 85 which with the high air temps that i was driving through at that speed would make the gas mileage come out less. btw when i was rolling through georgia and about 36 miles from florida my vibe rolled over the 10k mark.oh yeah the count on vibe/martix sigtings the whole trip was 3 matrix XS's and 1 Lava Vibe with a black roof rack luggage carrier.thats all from floridayogips. its really hot here[Modified by lordyogi, 9:58 PM 8/15/2002]
