I own a 2005 Pontiac Vibe base model that my father bought it new back in the day in moonstone, and I will say it is still a mint car! rust proofed every year and you have some Polish people like us doing maintenance the car will last forever

yes we do most maintenance like oil changes, manual tranny fluid when due, i flushed the coolant myself a couple of months ago and changed the serpentine belt on it.

now at 173,000 it is a wonderful car with no problems and doesn't burn any oil, no grinds in the tranny, new clutch at 160,000 and i now switched it from regular oil to mobil super 2000 at 170,000.

recently there is a little play when i go over a speed bump and the right front strut is done.
but that is okay I am getting 2 new front struts and I am installing tein s tech on all 4 struts.
I look forward to the better handling from it!

:!: :!: :!: BTW!!! I am looking for a supercharger and hardware to install on my Vibe GM or TRD is okay!!! 5 speed btw and    I'm in the GTA in Ontario

Hey guys! I have updates for my car!! :)
My car is lowered on Tein S-style springs and brand new KYB struts handles way better now but still practical for everyday use,

I got the TRD super charger with TB adapter, JP header, Greddy e-mange ultimate with the piggy harness.

just need some other things before i get it all installed and tuned.
new dayco belt, boost gauge, oil pressure gauge, tranny temp gauge, GT-S or XRS fuel injectors (any other suggestions for fuel injectors?), K&N short ram intake, new gaskets and seals, i'll ask my dad to cut me a smaller pulley for the SC. (any other suggestions?)

and I'll also find a front strut bar and lower tie bars

I don't see the need for a Tranny Temp gauge with a MT in CA. Just a good quality oil should work unless you want a bunch of gauges. An EGT would be a good one or better yet and AFR Gauge. You need to get an AFR Calibrator when you tune the car. It will keep the stock ECU happy when you run under closed loop boost. Injector upgrade isn't needed if you run the 5th injector which is really better for the SC but harder to tune. If you go with larger injectors 310cc/min or larger. If you start getting above 400cc/min you may need a fuel pump booster but not sure on that. Also an e-bay SRI will work fine.

Good luck

I've decided before installing the S/C, I am going to rebuild/upgrade the top-end of the motor from MWR and install the jp header and ecu this fall, service tranny; let it all break in the fall/winter then install S/C in spring

Sounds like a good plan. Keep us all posted and provide lots of pics when you perform this work ;)
